REMOVAL

ers and damage or destroy vehicles.

Wipe up fuel spills immediately. Do not smoke near fuel or when working on the fuel system.

1.

Remove four screws (1), lockwashers (2), washers (3), and shield (4) from right sponson. Discard lockwashers.

2.

Remove three screws (5), lockwashers (6), and clamps (7) from two weldnuts. Discard lockwashers.

3.

Remove tie strap (8) from fuel tube (9). Discard tie strap.

4.

Remove fuel tube (9) from fuel pump (10) and elbow (11) on fuel filter (12).

NOTE

Do not remove spiral wrap from tube if tube is being replaced.

5.

Remove spiral wrap (13) from tube (9). Discard spiral wrap.

6.

Remove four tie straps (14) from fuel hose (15). Discard tie straps.

7.

Remove fuel hose (15) from straight adapter (16) on fuel filter (12) and elbow (17) on personnel heater (18).

NOTE

Do not remove spiral wrap from hose if hose is being replaced.

8.

Remove spiral wrap (19) from hose (15). Discard spiral wrap.

9.

Remove nipple (20) and elbow (17) from personnel heater (18).

10. Remove two screws (21), lockwashers (22), washers (23), and fuel filter (12) from right sponson. Discard lockwashers.

11. Remove elbow (11), adapter (16), and two packings (24) from fuel filter (12). Discard packings.
