Does tachometer fail to show any reading?

Remove tachometer cable (1) from tachometer (2).

3.

Start engine. See TM 9-2350-277-10.

4.

Observe tachometer cable drive tip (3).

Does tachometer cable drive tip fail to rotate?

Stop engine. See TM 9-2350-277-10.

2.

Replace tachometer (WP 0862 00).

3.

Verify no faults found.
