from programs menu.

, then select the
OK
button.
NOTE
Once MSD/ICE hook up screen

button is selected, the MSD/ICE will perform a self test.
If self test fails, notify supervisor.

button on the MSD/ICE hook up screen to proceed.
6.
Select
OK
button after successful self test.
7.
Follow on screen preparation for DCA offsets tests. Select
OK
button.
8.
Use Tab and Shift-Tab to move from one list box to another.
9.
Use spacebar to select/deselect the test.
10. Select
84 Alt/Gen Neg Cable Drp
from
CHARGING SYSTEM
list box. Select
Run Test(s)
button.
11. Start engine and run at 1400-1600 RPM. See TM 9-2350-277-10.
12. Turn MASTER LIGHT switch to SER DRIVE.
13. Observe MSD display.
a.
If MSD reads
0.60
(volts), or less, test passes.
b.
If error message appears, see TM 9-6625-2301-14&P.
c.
If reading is erratic or cannot be obtained, go to MSD/ICE test 84 diagnostic troubleshooting (WP 0153 00).
14. Stop engine. See TM 9-2350-277-10.
15. Turn MASTER LIGHT switch to OFF.
16. Return to troubleshooting.
