Every 1500 miles or semi-annually,

lubricate U-joints.

NOTE

If universal joint does not have grease

fittings, it is a permanently lubed

universal joint and does not require

lubrication.

NOTE

When grease fitting will not accept

GAA, notify your supervisor.

1)

Lubricate four universal joints through

fittings with GAA. Universal joints

are on ends of propeller shafts. See

Universal Joint Lubrication Table

(Table 12, page 0155 00-20).

2)

Clean fittings with cleaning compound

prior to lubrication. Check/lubricate

grease fitting points after washing or

fording.
