NOTE

Installation of grounds will vary by vehicle. Vehicles with glow plug engines will have four

ground leads, while vehicles with air box heater engines will have three ground leads.

28. Install screw (3) and lockwasher (4) to secure instrument panel ground leads (8756715) (1), headlight HI beam circuit

519 (7), steering lock circuit 396A (6), and glow plug indicator light circuit 406B (5) to instrument panel shock mount

(2).

FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS

1.

Install two ground leads, mounts, and instrument panel on struts (WP 0295 01).

2.

Install tachometer and speedometer cables on instrument panel gauges (WP 0858 00).

3.

Connect battery ground strap (WP 0337 00 or WP 0338 00).
