REPLACE ROAD WHEEL

WARNING
Failure to set the parking brake and block the road wheels can allow the carrier to move and
could result in injury or death. Always set the parking brake and block road wheels before
working on the carrier.

Block carrier (see your -10).
6.
Remove eight locknuts (3) and washers (5) from road wheel (4). Discard locknuts.
7.
Lift track with bar until track clears road wheel (4). Remove two road wheels.
INSPECTION AND REPAIR
1.
Check road wheel tires TM 9-2530-200-24. Replace wheel if rubber has separated from it. Replace wheel if damaged
tire causes noise or vibration when carrier is moving.

Start engine (see your -10). Place gear selector in R. Slowly back carrier until lifter (1) is vertical and road wheel (4)
clears ground.
