CAUTION
Remove transducer before
attempting to start engine.

Check electrically driven fuel pump. Replace as necessary (para 6-9).
Check engine driven fuel pump. Replace as necessary (para 6-8).
Check for oil or fuel pressure switch in charging system.
If operating in freezing temperatures, check fuel lines for ice blockage
due to water accumulation or coagulation of fuel.
Attempt to start engine.
If still no start, locate and repair blockage in fuel line (para 6-1O).
- Replace fuel filters (para 6-6
and 6-7).
- Attempt to start engine.
- If still no start, return to step
2, Figure 3, sheet 23.
NOT E
After completing repair, rerun GO CHAIN tests to
verify problem has been fixed and that no other
problems exist. Start at GO 2 (Figure 2, sheet 8) if
VTM is already connected. Otherwise start at GO 1
(Figure 2, sheet 1).
