If vehicle has failed step 2 of GO 6, start with step 1.

If vehicle has failed step 1 of GO 6, start with step 2.

Check that

air inlet is clear of tools, debris, dirt, and

dust before performing following test.

- Remove air cleaner filter from air cleaner (para 6-13).

- Repeat GO 6, step 2, Figure 2, sheet 18.

Does engine pass the power test with air cleaner filter out?

Reinstall air cleaner

filter (para 6-1 3).

Install new air cleaner filter (para 6-13).

After completing repair, rerun GO CHAIN tests to verify

problem has been fixed and that no other problems exist.

Start at GO 2 (Figure 2, sheet 8) if VTM is already connected.

Otherwise start at GO 1 (Figure 2, sheet 1).
