Lockwashers (8) (item 98, Appx G)

Preformed packings (2) (item 1, Appx G)

Equipment Conditions

Powerplant removed (para 4-5)

a. Removal

Ensure exhaust pipes are cool before removing hoses to avoid severe bums.

1 Unscrew nut (1) from hose fitting (2).

2 Remove four screws (3), four Iockwashers (4), four nuts (5), preformed packing (6), and split flange (7).

Remove hose clamp (8). Discard Iockwashers and preformed packing.

3 Remove transmission-to-transmission oil cooler hose (9).
