General mechanic’s tool kit (item 64, Appx H)

Dry-cleaning solvent (item 22, Appx D)

Lockwashers (2) (item 112, Appx G)

a. Removal

1 Remove breather (1).

NOTE

Breather tube can be removed without removal of mount.

2 Loosen two tube nuts (2) at mount end of tube and at breather elbow (3).

3 Loosen two screws (4), two Iockwashers (5), and two flat washers (6). Slide mount (7) toward front of vehicle

and remove breather tube (8), two sleeves (9), and two tube nuts (2).
