Install lever (30) and new retaining ring (29) onto transmission stud.

Insert rod assembly (27) with boot (28) through bulkhead from engine compartment.

Install cover (23), two new Iockwashers (22), and two screws (21) at bulkhead to secure boot (28).

Install rod assembly (27)
