Unscrew nut (10) at elbow (11).

5 Remove four screws (12), four Iockwashers (13), four nuts (14), preformed packing (15), and split flange (16).

Discard Iockwashers and preformed packing.

6 Remove transmission oil cooler-to-transmission hose (17).

b. Installation

Install transmission oil cooler-to-transmission hose (17).

Install four screws (12), four new Iockwashers (13), four nuts (14), new preformed packing (15), and split flange

(16).

Screw on nut (10) at elbow (11).

Install transmission-to-transmission oil cooler hose (9).

Install split flange (7), new preformed packing (6), four nuts (5), four new Iockwashers (4), and four screws (3).

Install hose clamp (8).

Install nut (1) and hose fitting (2). Provide 0.75 ± 0.12 in. (19.05 ± 3.05 mm) clearance between manifold (18)

and hose (9).

Install powerplant (para 4-5)
