Using a round file, file the hole to a size equal to the plug diameter.
4.
Install plug assembly and tighten wing nut.
5.
Return oil to housing.
6.
Record BDAR action taken.
When mission is complete, as soon as practical, repair the equipment/system using
standard maintenance procedures.
Option 2
Limitations:
Repair may loosen and leak due to heat and/or vibration.
Personnel/Time Required:
1 soldier
Time to be determined by location and amount of damage.
Materials/Tools:
Paper, abrasive (item 46, Appendix C)
Epoxy, adhesive (item 2, Appendix C)
Wood (scavenge from available source)
Sheet metal screws (scavenge from available source)
Leather boot (scavenge from available source)
Rubber from tire or tube (scavenge from available source)
Large diameter washer (scavenge from available source)

Weld oil pan if welding equipment is available.

Locate leak.
2.
Clean area around holes with sandpaper.
