FUEL TANK, LEAKING - CONTINUED
Procedural Steps:
1.
Gain access to fuel tank hole.
2.
Drain fuel tank.
3.
Clean oil and fuel residue from damaged area.
4.
Rough up area around damage with sandpaper or file.
5.
Repair using fiberglass kit and kit instructions.
6.
Reinstall fuel tank, if removed.
7.
Record the BDAR action taken.
When the mission is complete, as soon as practical, repair the equipment/system
using standard maintenance procedures.
Option 3:
Plugging holes (using BDR kit).
Limitations:
None
Personnel/Time Required:
2 soldiers
Time determined by location and amount of damage.
Materials/Tools:
File (found in M2/3 generic BDR kit, Section III, Appendix C)
Fuel, cell patch kit (plug depending on size of hole) (found in M2/3 generic BDR kit, Section III, Appendix C)

Obtain plug the approximate size of the hole.
