Time to be determined by location and amount of damage.
Materials/Tools:
•
Rags (scavenge from available source)
•
Tape, duct (item 62, Appendix C)

Procedural Steps:
1.
Drain housing of oil until level is below damaged area.
Store oil in container until repair is complete.
2.
Clean area around the damage.
.
3.
Pack crack with rags and completely cover with duct tape.
4.
Return oil to housing.
5.
Record BDAR action taken.
When mission is complete, as soon as practical, repair the equipment/system using
standard maintenance procedures.
