12.Attach engine and transmission sling (Figure 21, Item 20) hooks to left lifting bracket (Figure 21, Item 3) and
right lifting bracket (Figure 21, Item 2).
13.Rotate transmission input housing upward on maintenance stand.
14.(Soldier 1) Use hoist and trestle to raise multiple-leg sling (Figure 21, Item 12) until cables are tight. Maneuver
hoist and maintenance stand until all three cables are uniformly tight, ready to receive full weight of transmission
(Figure 21, Item 15).
