When removing bolts use hoist and trestle as necessary to take tension off bolts.
15.(Soldier 2) Remove three 1/2-13 x 2 inch bolts (Figure 22, Item 18) and washers (Figure 22, Item 17) holding
the bottom of the transmission (Figure 22, Item 15) to the adapter plate (Figure 22, Item 21) (part of container
adapter kit). The transmission is still being supported at this time by the multiple-leg sling (Figure 22, Item 12).
16.Move transmission (Figure 22, Item 15) away from maintenance stand.
