Remove one tube connector

(1)

from manometer (2) by rotating in counterclockwise direction.

Turn other tube connector (3) clockwise until fully engaged and then back out one full turn.

Add five drops of food coloring to one pint of distilled water and mix.

Add colored solution (4) to manometer (2) until liquid level is opposite zero mark on manometer

scale with manomete~ in a vertical posifion.

NOTE

Eliminate air bubbles by tilting

manometer and gently tapping

manometer.

Install tube connector (1) until fully

engaged and then back out one full turn.

Remove oil level gage and tube from oil

pan. Install hose adaptor (5) in oil pan.

Connect hose (6) to adaptor (5) and tube

connector (1). Mount manometer in vertical

position. Close manometer tube connector

attached to hose.
