General mechanic’s tool kit (item 121, WP 0176)

Suitable oil drain container

Mandatory Replacement Parts:

O-ring (item 73, WP 0175)

O-ring (item 143, WP 0175)

Tie-wraps (v) (item 81, WP 0175)

Expendable and Durable Items:

Lubriplate (item 23, WP 0173)

Marker tags (item 39, WP 0173)

Personnel Required:

Track Vehicle Repairer (1) 63H10

Equipment Conditions:

Engine removed from vehicle and placed on a

flat stationary surface

REMOVAL

NOTE

Tag all lines and fittings prior to removal to aid in installation.

The 650 ampere generators are available from two different sources;

Honeywell and Ormat.

Both generators carry the same NSN but have

different part numbers.

Check your RPSTL.

Both applications are

illustrated when there are noticeable differences.

1. Remove hose (1) from elbow (2).

Allow hose to drain into suitable container.

2. Remove elbow (2) from generator (3).

3. Remove and discard tie-wraps (4) securing hose (1) if they have been used.

4. Remove hose (1) from tee connector (5).
