If rotor (1) is not within limits given in table 2-10,

generator is nonrepairable.

Measure outside diameter of shaft (2) at end housing.

Measure outside diameter of sliprings (3).

Measure outside diameter of drive end bearing seat (4).

Measure outside diameter of drive end of shaft (5),

NOTE

If end housing (6) is not within limits given in table

2-10, generator is nonrepairable.

Measure inside diameter of end housing bearing bore ( 7).

NOTE

If bearing (8) is not within limits given in table 2-10,

get a new bearing.

Measure bearing (8) inside diameter (9).

Measure bearing (8) outside diameter ( 10).
