M3 CROP END STRUCTURE ASSEMBLY (A-FRAME) RAISING
AND LOWERING PROCEDURES.

Raising the End Structure Assembly.
•
End structure assembly weighs 370 lbs (168 kg). Raising and lowering must
be conducted on level ground. Use the aid of a suitable lifting device when
raising or lowering end structure assembly to prevent serious injury or death
to personnel.
•
Ensure that at least one crewmember holds the end structure assembly in
the upright position until it is secured with the front and rear pins.
