The splitter is part of the exit
chute portion of the outer drum³
You can head oFf trouble by
eyeballing it when yOu load
ammo.
´irst, crank the druµn and
watch the nose of the roUnds as
they go over and under the sp²it¶
ter ·one round above, one below
and so on). The noses should
be the same distance ¸om the
splitter.

sp²itter.
The other end of the sP²itter,
like a thin ÌngeR, extends into
the area where the ammo ²eaves
the inner drum. It needs eyeÍ
ba²²ing³
Îf it's broken, replace the outer
drum.

If it's Ïent, straighten it. Mºny
times it's ben¾ so much that it'Ð
within a whisker of touching the
vanes of the inner dr½m.
