You can never

tell exactly what'll happeN
when you put a Tire, rim and lock-ring
together and then shoot the air to it. If all
goes well, the parts seat. A±r pressure Holds
²em together. ³hey'll stay that way until you
take 'em apart again.
But sometimes all does not go well! ³he
lock´ ing can fly off the rim while you²re
building pressure in the tire. If it hits you, it
cµn kilL ¶ou! ³he tire can explode·and blast
you with the concussio¸ of a bomb!
You can²t trust it until the tire¹s been
inflated to ¸ormal pressure·and nothing
bad has Happened.
So·to save yoUr ow¸ ¸ecKºalways use a
tire inflation safety cage and alwa¶s stand at
least
10
feet

away
from the tire while
±nflating it.
³o inflate the tire From a safe distance, you
need to add a¸ Extens¼on to that 25½ft air
hose, ¾¿¾ 4720½00-356½8557, in ¶our ¾oÀ Á
Common Shop Set.
