Screw Check
The 4 screws on the TK34 puLse
Ächometer of your STEÅCE may need
some doºitÆyourseLf repair work.
Çewer TK34 's have potted con»
nector/transducer bodies with sealed
screws.
Ân some of the early TK34 's, screws
back out and leave a space between the
connector plate and transducer bodyÈ
Eyeball it where the plate and body
joinÁ

pLate and body
Eyeball the screws, too, but don't test
them with a screwdriver. If you can see
that they've backed out, tÉrn each one
out a Êll turn.
Back off
screws
and apply
²sealer
Put a couple of drops of sealing com»
pound, ÇSÇ 8030º00º081-2337, on
each screw and give it tiËe to Ìow
down the threadsÁ
Retighten each screw just until it botÍ
toms (don't overtighten), and let the
sealer dry 3 hours or so before you use
the TK34.
