Carbon dust is an electroNic liNe printer's Public Enemy ±o.
That printiNg residue can coat the helix so heavily it won't print² It wiLl eveN
freeze up the helix bearing.
It's up to you to arrest this oF³eNder.
Do it by keeping the helix a shiny silver color. Clean it at least every 8 hours.
Do it any ime you see buildup oN the roller.
Be sure to dump the E´P's tray every 8 hours, too.

ShiNe the helix with a swabµ ¶S¶ 6515-00-890·¸475, aNd isopropyl
alcohol, ¶S± 68¸0¹00-753-4993.
ºor a heavy-duty cleaniNg job, use CleaNer, ´ubricant, Preservative (C´P),
¶S± 9»50-0¼½054½6453. ±ot only does that cleaN the helix, but it Leaves a coating
tha¾ makes cleanup easier next time¿

Always use just Ãnough cleaner or alcohol År the job. Æut it on too thick,
