We made a FOD pod that doubLes as a fueL sampLe storage area
and fire extinguish²r point.
¶ou need to weight the drum with soMe concrete .

5610-00-985-1800 gets a 90-Lb bag that shouLd take care of two FO±
pods. It¹ not on the Aº»¼ so order it on a DD Form 134-6. ½he
price is $3.10 and ¾IC is JGG.
½iLt the drum a bit whiLe the concrete ha¿ens. ½hen drÀÁ a few
drainage hoLes just above the Low side of th² concÂte. ½hat'l k²ep
rain water from colecTng.
¾eveÃe the puSh-top on tHe receptacLe coveÄ N¸N 72Å0-00-783Æ
10ÅÅ, so it has to be Lifted open. ½hat makes it easier to ins²Ç and
remove thingS.
Paint a 5-g´L miLitaÈ fueL can yelow and MaÉ it "Contaminated
Fu²L.
