As you mechs know, the STE-Ml/FVS engine power check instrUctions are
wrItten fr use with the pack in the huLL.

So±O"O±o, what do you do when the pack is ground-hopped, and you want to
puLL a power check? Do this:
FoLLow instrUctions fr the engine power check (test 1506), startIng on
Page ²9±23 o³ TM 9±2350´255-20-1-2-2µ When the STE±Ml/FVS SETC¶M
dispLays this message, ·Connect TA617 PER REF 150613,¸ do this:
Take o¹ the air ºLter restriction indicator in the center o» the ground-hop
aIr ºLter¼ Put It In a sa½ pLaceµ
HoLd the servIce brake cab¾e wIth a metaL rod or screwdriver to engage the
brakes in the transmissIon, when the SETC¶M dispLays ·set service and
p¿rking brakeµ''
PUsh the SETC¶À's ·G¶¸ buttonµ The rest o³ the SETC¶M and TÁ
instrUctions wiLL make senseÂ
RememberÃi³ you get a SETC¶M message sayIng, ·FauLty air cLeaner/
inLet,¸ there's a ºLter probLem in the ground-hop kItµ
Don't frget to repLace the indicator on the ground±hop aIr cLeaner when the
engine power check Is doneµ
