Air Intake Hose Woes
The air intake Hose fom the air
cleaner to the engine air hoR is hard
to install. It's stiF, and there's Little
room
to
get
your hands on
it
±r
²everage.
But i³ you don't insta²l it right, dirty
air wi²l bypass the air c²eaner and
damage your engine.
´ere's a tip that works:
•Instal² the hose to the engine air horn
while you have the pack on the ground.
Make sure the hose is seated all around
the horn beµre you tighten the c²amp.
•
A¶er the pack is instal²ed and as the
top deck is being lowereD onto thE hu²²;
make your next move. Just be±re the
deck touches, stick your hand through
the air cleaner opening and line up the
·ose. Seat the hose ¸rm²y be±re the
deck is complete²y in place. Tighten the
c²amp.

Come ²ube time, you've got to pu²l
t¹e plugs and instaº² lube ¸ttings and
re²ie³ valves. Some o²d-s»y²e arms fom
A¼'s are used on the

s and they need
specia² adapters,

enough to be ²¾bed.
When you're done, replace the plugs.
