A plugged-up M29AI mortar wilL soon rust. .

Rust binds The elevaTing spindle, making it har± to move the M29A I tube
up anD down²
Water seeps in the top housing cover of the M29A L's eLevation housing²
UnLess the water has somepLace to drain, it stays in the eLevation housing and
ca uses rust.
³o prevent rust, keep the drain hoLe in the base cap of the eLevation
housing open² ´f the hoLe gets plugged and you can't clear it, your armorer
must send the mortar to µS for cLeaning.
