Dear Editor,
In our unit, we've had to Rplace 30 Vulcan feed chutes becaUse
pOor alignment between the feed chute and conveyor Unit tea± Up
feed chUte t²ck guides. But we came Up with a qUick fix that gets
a lot moR life out of feed chutes.
AFer you put a new fee³ chute in, use plie± to slightly bend Up the
two bottom t²ck guides of the feed chute end assembly. They shoUld
just clear the conveyor unit gUide bar. A 1´16-in bend should do the
trick.
Wµ also had a p¶blem w·th dummy ¶unds t¸¹ng UP the feed chUte
and declutching feeder assembly.
