and crank your trUck´s engine³ The en-
gine starts, runs, coughs, chokes down

but the engine won´t start again¶
The problem is water in the ·Uel¶
Water sneakS into a vehicle's Fel sys-
tem through condensation or it gets
pumped in when you re±Uel¸ Any water
is bad news ²¹r diesel and mUlti·Uel
engines¶
Water ²¹uls up the ²Uel injector³ In
winter it ºeezes and ice clogs tHe »el
lines and ²iLters³

Draining ¼i½ters daily gets rid o² that bad stU¾³ ¿o mÀke sUre yoU get it all,
drain into a glass or cleÀr plastic container¶ Water contaminated ·Uel looks
cloUdy and dirt looks like dirt¶ Keep draining Until you see only clean »el¸
¿hen dump the bad ·Uel in an approved container³
Change the ¼ilter elements on schedule and by the bookÁthe ÂO or ¿M³ Ãse
all the right parts, elements and gaskets calleÄ out and clean the ¼ilter housing
and reusable pÀrts befre you pUt the ¼ilter back together¶
In winter always keeP yoUr trUck's Fel tank topPed o¾ to the ²Åll line³ The
more Æel in the tank, the less room condensation has to frm and that means
less wÇter in the ±Uel system¶
I² yoUr trUck doesn't have a Èll line, get your mechanic to paint one on¸
