the tires. If the tire looks like it has

While you're looking at the tread,
remove any Bits oF glass or rocks stuck
in the tire´ Also remove stones or any-
thing else caught Between duaLsµ

Cal¹ your Mechanic if you see white
cord in the punct·reº He wil» Take the

nuts are loose or missing, tighten or

During your inspection, don't Ärget
the vaLve steMs and capsà Check valve
stems f¿r cracks, scrapes and cutsµ A
damageÅ valve stem is often the ca·se
of s¹ow leaks thÆt ÅÆmÆge tiRes´ Also,
make sUre a¹l va¹ve stems have caps
and that they are screwed on tight.
CÇs keep out dirt and moisture and
provide a second seal f¿r the vaLve
core´ ±t aLso keeps the valve core fÈom
getting accidenta¹ly pushed in and air
released´
