Install heater cable (16) on heater center

compartment cover (10) with lockwasher (17)

and nut (18).

WARNING

Use extreme care when cutting defrost tubes.

Failure to comply may result in injury to personnel.

13.

Cut off 6 in. (152 mm) of defrost tube (19).

14.

Cut off 8 in. (203 mm) of defrost tube (20).

15.

Coat inner edge of four defrost tubes (19, 20, 21, and 22)

with 3M adhesive.

16.

Install four defrost tubes (19, 20, 21, and 22) on

lower plenum (23) with four cable ties (24).
