Section XVII. TAC-SAT RADIO MOUNT INSTALLATION
NOTE
It is necessary to relocate ammo box tray to install TAC-SAT radio
mount. Perform steps 17-1 through 17-7 to relocate ammo box tray.
17-1.
Remove four capscrews (1) and (3), lockwashers (10) and (4), and ammo box tray (2) from
cargo floor (7).
17-2.
Modify tray (2) to match holes in armor plate (8).
17-3.
Using ammo box tray (2) as template, locate, mark and drill two 0.531-in. diameter holes (6) in cargo
floor (7).
17-4.
Install two inserts (5) in cargo floor (7).
17-5.
Install two inserts (9) in armor plate (8).
17-6.
Install ammo box tray (2) on armor plate (8) with two capscrews (1) and lockwashers (10).
17-7.
Secure ammo box tray (2) on cargo floor (7) with two capscrews (3) and lockwashers (4).
