Section XIX. COUPLER INSTALLATION
NOTE
Position coupler mounting plate flush against gas spring bracket.
19-1.
Locate, mark, and drill eight 0.281-in. diameter holes (6) in side of wheelhouse (3).
19-2.
Cut notch (9) in coupler plate (8) for bump (10) on bottom of wheelhouse (3).
19-3.
Install coupler plate (8) on wheelhouse (3) with six capscrews (1A), twelve lockwashers (2),
six spacers (5), and six nuts (4).
19-4.
Secure coupler plate (8) to wheelhouse (3) with capscrew (1B), five lockwashers (2), ground strap (7),
spacer (5), and nut (4).

Secure coupler plate (8) to wheelhouse (3) with capscrew (1C), two lockwashers (2), ground strap (7),
spacer (5), and nut (4).
