General.
To be sure the shelter is always ready for use, it must be inspected at
specific intervals so defects can be located and corrected before they result in serious damage
or failure.
Before You Operate.
AIways keep in mind the CAUTIONS and WARNINGS. Perform
your before (B) PMCS.
While You Operate.
Always keep in mind the CAUTIONS and WARNINGS. Perform
your
during (D) PMCS.

Afler You Operate.
Be sure to perform your after (A) PMCS.

Weekly.
Perform your weekly (W) PMCS.

Once Each Month.
Perform your monthly (M) PMCS.

If Your Equipment Fails to Operate.
If your equipment does not perform as required,
notify higher level of maintenance
.
Report any malfunctions or failures on the proper DA
Form 2404 or refer to DA Pam 738-750.

Purpose of PMCS Table. The
Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services table
lists the inspections required to keep the equipment in good operating condition.

Explanation of Columns.
Item Number. The
item number is to be used as a source number for the TM num-
ber column on DA Form
2404,
Equipment Inspection and Maintenance Worksheet, when
recording PMCS results.

Item to Be Inspected.
This column list the components that require inspection.

This column lists the faults to check for and procedures to follow.
