Step 8.

Install a 1/4-20 blind Rivnut in each mounting hole using the Rivnut installation tool included in the

mounting kit. Install the Rivnut IAW instructions for Rivnut installation as detailed in WP 0013.

Step 9.

Once both Rivnuts have been installed, align the mating attachment holes and mount the two

strap assemblies so that their buckles face

away

from the left edge of the tailgate. Secure the strap

assemblies to the tailgate using a 1/4-20 x .75 inch long hex head screws and two large (1 1/8 in OD)1/4

inch flat washers. One flat washer should be on each side of the strap assembly, one under the screw

head and a second

between the strap and the tailgate. Tighten all hardware securely.

Mounting ladder deployment brackets

Step 1.

To install the brackets required to deploy the ladder on the tailgate, use a tape measure and

make a mark 14 inches from the front edge and along the right edge of the tailgate.
