Remove pipe plug (1) and
drain waste oil and water
from drip pan (2) into a
suitable container.
Reinstall pipe plug.
NOTE
Dispose of waste oil and water
IAW local Unit SOP.
d. Remove engine head
assembly (P. 3-8) and
inspect/repair (P.3-10).
WARNING
Do not stow any vehicle Bll,
COEI, etc. between fog oil
tank and fog oil tank retaining
straps.
a. Using indicator sights (1)
on fog oil tank (2), check
fog oil level and replenish if
not full.
b. Check for leaks.
c. Check fill hole strainer
element for any debris and
clean if required.
Class III fog oil leaks are
present.
