bracket (1) during installation, markthe location above and beside bracket

(1).

Cut off bracket (1) from semitrailer frame (2). Remove tiedown ring (3) f rom bracket (1).

Grind weldment from frame (2).

INSTALLATION

Place tiedown ring (3) in bracket (1).

2.

Put bracket (1) and tiedown ring (3) in place on frame (2) according to the marks made during removal. Have

assistant

hold in place with wooden dowel.

3.

Weld bracket (1) to frame (2) (refer to TC 9-237).
