Hub and brakedrum
removed and hub separated from
brakedrum (para 4-68 or 4-69).

* Cloth, abrasive (crocus) (Item 3, Appendix F)
REPAIR
WARNING
Drycleaning solvent is toxic and flammable. Always wear protective goggles and
gloves and use only in a well-ventilated area. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and
clothes and DO NOT breathe vapors. DO NOT use near open flame or excessive heat.

Wash brakedrum (1) thoroughly with drycleaning solvent and rag.

Inspect bralkedrum (1) for wear, cracks, or damage.
Replace if worn, cracked, or damaged.

Inspect inner braking surface (2) for heat checking, scoring, or warpage.
