Using 314-inch box-end wrench, loosen
one turn.

Put in place in pulley grooves.

CAUTION
Do not overtighten drivebelts, damage to generator could occur.

Mounting bracket (3)

Pull generator away from crankshaft pulley
(5), to seat drivebelts (6) in pulley
grooves, and hold.

Adjusting strap (1)
Screw (2)
Screw in until snug, using 3/4-inch box-end
wrench, to hold drivebelts (6) in pulley
grooves.
ADJUSTMENT

Generator (4)
Two new drivebelts

Loosen screw.
and adjusting

Pull generator away from crankshaft
strap (1)
pulley (5) until 110 pounds (50 kg) of
tension is measured using 30 to 180 lb
(14 to 82 kg) belt-tension gage and
16-inch pry bar.
c.
Screw in and tighten screw using 3/4-
inch box-end wrench.

Mounting bracket (3)

Screw in and tighten using two 3/4-inch

box-end wrenches.
