NOTE
Prior to the disassembly of the main shaft assembly, all paint must be removed from shaft. A light coat
of oil applied to the shaft will aid in the removal of the component parts. Punch mark shaft, adjacent to
bearing retainer rings and sheave bushings, so that they can be re-alined properly at time of assembly.

Two setscrews (22).
Loosen.

Bearing (21) and
Remove.
Tap off gently, using soft
retainer (23).
headed hammer.
5.
Hex bolts (17) and
Remove.
lockwashers (18).
6.
Hex bolts (17).
Install in tapered pusher
Tighten evenly until sheave
holes.
and bushing separate.
7.
Sheave (20).
Remove.
8.
Bushing (19)
Remove.
Tap off gently, using soft
9.
Woodruff key (16).
Remove.
10.
Setscrew (13).
Loosen.
There are two setscrews.

Bearing (12) and
Remove.
Tap off gently, using soft
retainer ring (14).
headed hammer.

Three hex bolts (5) and

three washers (7).

Three hex bolts (5).
Install in tapered pusher
Tighten evenly until sheave
holes.
and bushing separate.

Sheave (10).
Remove.
15.
Bushing (11) and
Remove.
Tap off gently, using soft
woodruff key (15).
headed hammer.

Setscrew (8).
Loosen.
17.
Bearing (6) and
Remove.
Tap off gently, using soft
retainer (9).
headed hammer.
