ROADWHEEL ARM REPAIR (Sheet 3 of 9)
7. Using pry bar, remove seal (J) from retainer (G) with care. Do not damage retainer. Throw
seal away.

NOTE
Roadwheel arm numbers 1, 2, and 6 require bearing replacement.
For roadwheel number 1 and if your vehicle is equipped with
mechanical track adjusting link, perform steps 8, 9, and 10; if
equipped with grease actuated track adjusting link, perform steps
8, 9, and 11. For roadwheel numbers 2 and 6, perform steps 8
and 10.
For roadwheel numbers 3, 4, and 5, go to cleaning and
inspection, page 14-13.
8. Using hammer and chisel, cut off stakes on
three places,each side of shock absorber
bearing (K) and track adjusting link bearing
(L).
