Manually installs nuts (Y), flat washers
(Z), and new preformed packings (AA) on elbows (AB).

Manually install two elbows (AB) on
vehicle and aline elbows (AB) as shown.

Using 3/4 inch wrench to hold elbows
(AB), use 7/8 inch wrench to tighten elbow

Bleed hydraulic system (page 3-66).
Check for hydraulic leaks and correct as
necessary.
Service hydraulic reservoir (LO 5-5420-202-12).

Holding elbows (AB) with 3/4 inch wrench,
use 7/8 inch wrench to install hose
assemblies “CD” (W) and “CC” (X).
End of Task
Install front fixed end movable hose armor
(page 3-128).
Place boom mount hose armor (AC) in
position.
Using socket, install eight screws (AD)
and lockwashers (AE).
