HEU AND EARLY MODEL HOLD-DOWN CYLINDER REPAIR (Sheet 2 of 4)

Remove retainer plate (C) from piston rod (A).

4.

Remove wiper ring (D) from piston rod (A). Discard wiper ring (D).

5.

Use spanner wrench in unthreaded holes (E) to remove bushing (F).

6.

Use socket head screw attachment to remove eight screws (G).

7.

Remove mount plate (H) and sleeve bushing (J).

8.

Remove wiper ring (K) from sleeve bushing (J). Discard wiper ring (K).

9.

Remove preformed packing (L) and packing retainer (M) from sleeve bushing (J). Discard

preformed packing (L) and packing retainer (M).

10.

Remove packing assembly (N) (Early Model) or seal pack assembly (N) (HEU Model).
