Fittings are made of soft brass. They can b e

stripped very easily if tightened too much .

Tighten fittings just enough to stop fuel fro m

leaking .

1 .

Using 7/8-inch open end wrench , screw in and tighten adapter (1) .

2 .

Using 7/8-inch open end wrench, hold adapter (1). Using 7/16-inch ope n

end wrench, screw in and tighten elbow (2) .

3 .

Using 7/16-inch open end wrench, hold elbow (2). using 3/8-inch combinatio n

box and open end wrench, screw in and tighten tube nut (3) .

4 .

Close master cylinder hatch (4). Using screwdriver, tighten screw on hatch .

Follow-on Maintenance Action Required :

Bleed hydraulic system .

Refer to para 13-15 and 13-16 .
