b. Removal .
FRAME 1
1 .
Using pliers, take cotter pin (1) out of handbrake drum near output shaf t
(2). Throw cotter pin away .
2 .
Using 1 1/2-inch wrench, unscrew and take off slotted nut (3) and fla t
washer (4) .
3 .
Put handbrake (in cab) in brake off (down) position .
