18-7. DRIVER’S SEAT REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT (EARLY MODEL TRUCKS).
TOOLS:
9/16-inch wrench
SUPPLIES: None
PERSONNEL: One
EQUIPMENT CONDITION:
Truck parked, engine off, handbrake set.
a. Preliminary Procedure. Remove companion seat. Refer to para 18-12.
b. Removal.
1.
Lift up driver’s seat cushion (1).
2.
Using 9/16-inch wrench, unscrew and take off four nuts (2) and four
washers (3).
3.
Pull out adjuster locking handle (4). Lift seat frame (5) off seat frame
base (6) and take out four washers (7).
