REMOVAL
WARNING
Do not perform this task when engine is hot. Failure to comply may result in injury or death
to personnel.
NOTE
•
Have adequate drainage container ready to catch oil.
•
Perform Step (1) for M939/A1 series vehicles and Step (2) for M939A2 series vehicles.
1.
Remove oil sampling valve (Figure 1, Item 2) from engine oil cooler (Figure 1, Item 1).
2.
Remove oil sampling valve (Figure 1, Item 2) from engine block (Figure 1, Item 3).
