c. Installation

1.

Install bracket (3) on wheel valve (21) with two washers (2) and new locknuts (1).

NOTE

Wrap all male pipe threads with antiseize tape before installation.

2.

Install connector (4) on wheel valve (21)

3.

Install washer (18), new O-ring (19), and connector (20) on hub (16).

4.

Install wheel valve (21) on connector (20).

5.

Install hose (5) on connector (4) and tube (15).

6.

Install support bracket (8) on axle flange (14) and bracket (3) with two washers (9), screws (10),

washers (7), and nuts (6).

7.

Install valve stem (12) and cap (11) on tank valve (13).

FOLLOW-ON TASK: Start engine (TM 9-2320-272-10), operate CTIS, allow tire to inflate, and check for

leaks.
